Purdy Opera Gloves Knitting pattern

DESCRIPTION
Purdy is the name given to these exceptionally pretty and different fingerless gloves which are made in an easy to knit lace pattern. Anchored with a loop around the middle finger, the gloves are significantly enhanced by unusual rib and the frilled edging. Whether attending a night at the opera or a day at a garden party, Purdy will be the ultimate accessory to make you feel special.
The Purdy Gloves can be knitted to finish at the wrist or near the elbow and the pattern includes instructions to make both. 50g of yarn will make either two pairs of the short version or one pair of the opera gloves.
“Love the way these gloves knit up but used elastic when knitting the rib section (instead of just yarn) as this makes them stay in place much better. Second pair is a present for my mum, but shh, don’t tell her!” Sue S
Knitting techniques include: knitted cast on, left and right decreasing stitches and yarn over
