The classic shape of the Persephone Cardigan is instantly enhanced with the peplum detail, textured stripes, 3/4 length sleeves and button front.

Persephone was originally designed as a confidence building garment for the novice knitter; it is knitted in one piece so there is little finishing needed and the knitting techniques to make this include: knit and purl stitches and the knitted cast on.

Sizes:
X-Small: UK sizes 4-6, to fit approx 73cm/29″ bust (weight 450g : 9 balls or 5.5 skeins )
Small: UK sizes 8-10, to fit approx 83cm/33″ bust (weight 500g : 10 balls or 6 skeins )
Medium: UK sizes 12-14, to fit approx 93cm/37″ bust (weight 550g : 11 balls or 6.5 skeins  )
Large: UK sizes 16-18, to fit approx 102cm/40″ bust (weight 600g : 12 balls or 7 skeins )
X-Large: UK sizes 20-22, to fit approx 112cm/44″ bust (weight 650g : 13 balls or 7.5 skeins )

Knitted on 6mm needles
Tension: 16 sts and 23 rows to 10 cm square over Stocking Stitch using 6mm needles.
