Pattern for the QT Hat & Cowl Set

A warm addition to any wardrobe, the QT Hat and Cowl set are both written out on the pattern and relatively easy to make.  The double strands work beautifully to keep your head, ears, neck and upper chest really cosy and because they are knitted in straight rows, both these projects grow quickly.

The hat uses 80g of yarn over two colours and what's left makes a super soft pompom.  (You can also make a tassel if you prefer).  The Cowl needs 150g of yarn over two colours and to make them both together, you'll need 125g in each colour.

The knitting techniques used are garter stitch, short row shaping and the honeycomb cable pattern using two colours.

Hat: Two sizes: Circumference 50 cm and 55 cm worked on 4 mm straight needles 
Cowl: One size worked on 6 mm straight needles
