Mdina Panel Cardigan Knitting Kit

Mdina is knitted in one piece and has panel detail which will keep even the most experienced knitter intrigued. With its blend of stitches and integral shaping, Mdina is a joy to knit and just so easy to wear.

Knitting Techniques include:
LPT [left purl twist] - Slip next stitch to cable needle [cn] and hold to front, p1, k1 from cn.
M1p - Purl into bar before next stitch to create new stitch.
P2tog - purl the next 2 sts together.
P2togtbl - purl the next 2 sts together through back of loop.
RPT [right purl twist] - Sl next st to cn and hold to back, k1, p1 from cn.
Sskpo - slip 2 sts together knit wise, knit 1, pass slipped sts over.

Knitted in Purl Alpaca Designs 100% pure alpaca Medium yarn. 
Skill level: Intermediate

Sizes:
X-Small: UK sizes 4-6, to fit approx 73cm/29″ bust (weight 500g)
Small: UK sizes 8-10, to fit approx 83cm/33″ bust (weight 550g)
Medium: UK sizes 12-14, to fit approx 93cm/37″ bust (weight 600g)
Large: UK sizes 16-18, to fit approx 102.5cm/41″ bust (weight 650g)
X-Large: UK sizes 20-22, to fit approx 112cm/44″ bust (weight 700g)

Knitted on 5mm needles, or size required to match given tension. Circular needles are
recommended due to the amount of stitches - needles not included

Tension: 16 sts and 23 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch using 5 mm needles and
15 sts and 26 rows over moss stitch using 5 mm needles using Purl Alpaca Designs Medium yarn.

Please note, correct tension must be obtained to make sure this garment fits properly.
