Masika Skirt Knitting pattern

Masika is a practical and stylish, straight skirt with striking cable pattern. The cabling at the front and back, with stocking stitch side panels, draws the eye to the centre and as it’s knitted in the round, Masika needs little finishing, with the belt loops added as a final flourish.

Sizes:
X-Small: UK sizes 4-6, to fit approx 52cm/21″ waist (weight 200g : 4 balls or 2 skeins  )
Small: UK sizes 8-10, to fit approx 62cm/24″ waist (weight 200g : 4 balls or 2 skeins )
Medium: UK sizes 12-14, to fit approx 72cm/28″ waist (weight 250g : 5 balls or 2.5 skeins )
Large: UK sizes 16-18, to fit approx 82cm/32″waist (weight 250g : 5 balls or 2.5 skeins )
X-Large: UK sizes 20-22, to fit approx 92cm/36″ waist (weight 300g : 6 balls or 3 skeins )

Needle sizes: 3mm, 4 mm needles and 4.5 mm circular needles or size required to match given tension.

Tension: 18 sts and 27 rows to 10cm square using 4.5 mm needles measured over stocking stitch after light steaming using Purl Alpaca Designs’ Fine yarn.
