Maddie Leaf Motif Dress Knitting pattern

Maddie has a fitted bodice with a fabulously full and swirly skirt.  Knitted in the round, there is little sewing up at the end.  The leaf motif is the feature of this design and it carries through from the skirt to an emblem on the sleeves and cluster on the back.  The dress is photographed with a black petticoat underneath.

Sizes:
X-Small: UK sizes 4-6, to fit approx 73cm/29″ bust (weight 600g : 12 balls or 6 skeins )
Small: UK sizes 8-10, to fit approx 83cm/33″ bust (weight 650g : 13 balls or 6 skeins )
Medium: UK sizes 12-14, to fit approx 93cm/37″ bust (weight 750g : 15 balls or 6.5 skeins )
Large: UK sizes 16-18, to fit approx 102cm/40″ bust (weight 850g : 17 balls or 7.5 skeins )
X-Large: UK sizes 20-22, to fit approx 112cm/44″ bust (weight 900g : 18 balls or 8 skeins )

Knitted on 3.5mm straight  needles
4 mm straight and circular needles.
4.5 mm circular needles.
5 mm circular needles.
5.5 mm circular needles.
6 mm circular needles.
7 mm circular needles.
It is recommended to use a set of interchangeable needles for this project.

Tension:  20 sts and  29 rows to 10 cm square over Stocking Stitch
