Gaia Skirt Knitting pattern

Gaia is a fabulous knitted skirt, created with short row shaping and integrated blackberry stitch hem; the cable waistband and seed stitch bow gives this skirt an extra feature! The construction of Gaia means she holds her shape and doesn’t ‘seat’, making this skirt an up to date addition to any wardrobe.

Sizes:
X-Small: UK sizes 4-6, to fit approx 52cm/21″ waist  (weight 450g : 9 balls or 4 skeins )
Small: UK sizes 8-10, to fit approx 62cm/24″ waist (weight 500g : 10 balls or 4.5 skeins )
Medium: UK sizes 12-14, to fit approx 72cm/28″ waist (weight 550g : 11 balls or 5 skeins )
Large: UK sizes 16-18, to fit approx 82cm/32″waist (weight 650g : 13 balls or 6 skeins )
X-Large: UK sizes 20-22, to fit approx 92cm/36″ waist (weight 700g : 14 balls or 6.5 skeins )

Needle size: 4 mm needles
Tension: 20sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over Garter Stitch
