Eloise Shawl/Snood

Eloise is a beautiful, soft and feminine garment which can be worn in a variety of ways; over the head (like a scarf), around the neck (like a chunky throat protector), or our favourite, across the shoulders creating a loose cowl effect at the front.  The leaf motif is subtly blended with a lace pattern that makes the most of the drape and lustre of our fabulous alpaca yarn.

Knitting techniques include:
Provisional cast on
inc1k - knit into front and back of stitch
inc1p - purl into front and back of stitch
k2tog - knit two together
M1 - make st by picking up loop between sts
p2tog - purl two together
ssk - slip 1 knitwise, slip 1 knitwise, knit together through back of loop
sskpo - slip 2 knitwise together, knit 1, pass slipped sts over
yo - yarn over

Needle size:  5.5 mm straight needles 
Tension: 16 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm square over Stocking Stitch
