Devon Ladder and Cable Top

Devon is knitted in the round so there is little finishing required; the shoulders and neckline are edged in moss stitch, and Devon is a great way to understand how cables are formed as the twists are uniformly one way.  The scariest thing is making sure you drop the right stitch to form the ladder effect!

X-Small: UK sizes 4-6, to fit approx 73cm/29″ bust (weight 250g)
Small: UK sizes 8-10, to fit approx 83cm/33″ bust (weight 300g)
Medium: UK sizes 12-14, to fit approx 93cm/37″ bust (weight 350g)
Large: UK sizes 16-18, to fit approx 102cm/40″ bust (weight 400g)
X-Large: UK sizes 20-22, to fit approx 112cm/44″ bust (weight 450g)

Knitted on 4, 5, and 6 mm circular needles 

Tension:  16 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm square over Moss Stitch using 5mm needles.

Please note, if using a different yarn, correct tension must be obtained to make sure this garment fits properly.
