Man’s Cable Jumper

Had a hectic week last week, with a workshop, event, shearing and a photoshoot for my latest creation, which I think I’m calling Milo.

I don’t mean to brag, but I’m really proud of this jumper!

Roger King took the photographs and Anthony was a great model (although he did have help from Enzo!)

Here are some of the key features of the pattern:

The shoulders are knitted using short row shaping and the three needle bind off, giving a very neat finish

How the back joins the neck and the 2 x 2 rib

How the line on the sleeves matches the line on the body of the jumper

And I really like this rib and cable effect

A very productive and relaxed day, so here are a few more pictures to whet your appetite

And this one, which I think is going to be on the front cover of the pattern.

This pattern is with the tech editor and should be available soon.  To register your interest, please email tracy@purlalpacadesigns.com and you’ll be one of the first to make it.
