Testing a new recipe – Paul Hollywood’s baguettes
I have for a long time stuck to my trusted loaf recipe when making bread for our popular knitting workshops, but as I have made a huge vegetarian lasagna for this months workshop, I decided to go authentic and serve it with some crusty baguettes. I went for one of Paul Hollywood’s recipes. I’ve never tried any of his recipes before so I was very excited to see what the hype was all about!

The dough came out really smooth and lovely, so easy to work with and the measurements seemed to be spot on! My baguettes are not far off what is pictured on Paul’s homepage either! They have a beautiful colour and are very crusty. They even make that crusty sound when you squeeze them.
