Purl Alpaca Designs Events – February to April 2016
We have just updated our News and Events page on the website and realise we have a lot to do over the next few months! Here is a list to keep you all up to date:
1. Unravel – 19th – 21st of February 2016
Unravel is always a fun show. If you have not been before, we would strongly recommend it! It is easy to access from London by train or car and takes place in the Maltings of the cute town of Farnham. Hope to see you there!
2. Knitting workshop – 27th of February
We’re back again with one of our popular knitting workshops. February usually comes with a hint of spring in the air, the alpacas are fluffier, the babies are super cute and we’ll get lots of knitting done!
3. Spring Knitting and Stitching Show – 3rd – 6th of March 2016
Next up is an amazing show at Olympia in London. It’s a brilliant show, slightly quieter than the October version and with a slightly different mix of stalls. We love attending this show as we see so many friends and lovely customers and make a whole lot of new ones too! We’ll be there with yarn and patterns as always!
4. Edinburgh Yarn Festival – 18th and 19th of March 2016
Last year was our first time in Scotland, and we loved it so much we will be heading back up north again this year. The Edinburgh Yarn Festival is a beautifully curated show for the yarn lover and passionate knitter and we think it is really worth a visit!
5. Wonderwool Wales, 23rd – 24th of April 2016
Wales is a wonderful place and we are always looking forward to heading back to Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Showgrounds. The smell of Welsh sheep mixed with the smell of locally roasted coffee is a sweet smell indeed!
6. Knitting Workshop – Saturday 30th of April
This will be the very last chance to see the alpacas in their full fleece before shearing takes place in May. The babies will be at their fluffiest and cutest and the mums will love to eat an apple or two from your hand!
We hope to see you at one of these events, hopefully either making or wearing something from Purl Alpaca Designs? If you want to keep up to date with what is going on, make sure to sign up to our newsletter here.
