Clever Bunch

We have received the following pictures and stories from customers happily showing us their completed projects.  We just love to see them and hope you do too.

Jude was delighted to show us the three Berkhamsted Duchesses!! She is the one in the Dew Grey, in the middle! The other two are Jude (another one) on the left in the Fawn and Daphne on the right in the Cream. Daphne’s mum knits too, we wondered if she was the one taking the photographs! It looks like they had a bundle of fun taking these images!  A very glamorous trio.

Staying on the subject of Duchess, Freda wanted to make a second Duchess, but this time extend the length at the back. By doing this, she had to make adjustments at the side and front so that the knitting would fit together. You can see she has done an excellent job.

Freda used the Rowan creative focus worsted yarn for this Duchess, which just goes to show how adaptable our patterns are if using other yarns.

Glynis (who sends out your parcels) wore Dottie to a doctorate graduation ceremony at Cambridge University. She says she felt very special!

Martha contacted us asking to use the crochet flower necklace as a training tool in one of her classes. As none of us crochet, Tracy agreed on the condition that Martha made a sample for us as we keep selling them!  It worked out well for all and the class was a great success.

And finally, April has made a hot water bottle cover from our Medium worsted spun, ivory yarn that we had on special offer to our newsletter readers.  This is definitely something to snuggle up to in the cold winter months ahead.  If you didn’t know about the special offer, maybe you could subscribe to our newsletter here.
