Where there’s a will…
When Sue and her husband, Nick, had to fly to Ireland, Sue was dismayed to find out that she wasn’t allowed to have her knitting needles on the plane. They only had hand luggage and so putting a needle bag in the hold seemed a bit daft. Determined to carry on knitting the sleeve for Olivia Coat, Sue purchased some smooth pencils which were about the right width and had the rubber on the end so that the stitches didn’t fall off. Voila! Sue could carry on knitting!
Sue is pretty clever really, she spins her own yarn from her herd of alpacas but uses our patterns to make desirable garments.
The pencil idea proved to be really versatile and Sue found she was knitting whenever she found a moment!
