A while back Kari-Helene was contacted by Norwegian journalist Ingunn Viken. Ingunn had heard about Kari-Helene through a mutual friend and travelled to London to meet her. Together with photographer Nina Rangøy they drove to Houghton Hall to see the alpacas. Tracy came along and helped out on the day.

Tracy made sure our two models for the day looked pristine and were waiting for us in a little paddock when we arrived. Helene and Havana were the chosen ones and we managed to get them both in head collars fairly easily. This is when Havana decided to throw a proper diva tantrum. She did not want to go anywhere we wanted her to go and she was throwing all sorts of stunts, jumping and running all over the place. As a result, Helene ended up being our leading lady, and she behaved impeccably. As you may know, Helene is named after Kari-Helene, and the two ladies had a blast, as you may be able to tell from the photos!
Nina really made everything so easy on the day, giving instructions to everyone involved. Ingunn came in handy as photography assistant, proving quite the expert with the reflector! Kari-Helene had lots of fun, knitting in the field, wearing several garments in one go, running after alpacas trying to make them eat apples, and this really shows in the photos!
The article appeared in the Norwegian paper VG on the 1st of June and we have had lots of positive response from friends, family and complete strangers! Thank you all for your great feedback.
