AL Paca is here!
At long last, the pattern for AL is ready! It’s only been a year since Tracy embarked on this project and many (many,) versions later, plus a few (read loads of…) tweaks and amendments, the pattern has been finalised, tech edited and test knitted. So we are delighted to introduce AL to you. He was launched on Create & Craft TV on September 20th at 2.00 pm as part of the Get Britain Crafting Campaign with Anthea Turner. (Also on the show were live alpacas courtesy of Houghton Hall).
If you missed that show, no worries – we’re back on TV again on the 28th September showing how to make Al, plus two new items from our new collection, Medley Textured Scarf and Hero Boot Cuffs.
So here’s Al Paca or Al Pacachino as he was nicknamed…
AL’s photo shoot happened on the 13th September and once again we were lucky with the weather! It was just as well really because Lizzie.G (photographer) was lying on the grass for most of the shots, trying different backgrounds and props. Here’s a selection of images which we hope you enjoy…
The adventures of AL Paca
AL is on top of the world (well his anyway)
Caught between a rock and a hard place?
AL balances on a fence post shouting: “Look at my toes”
None of these made it to the front cover of the pattern, so you can see it was a pretty hard choice!
