Irene + Jakob

When her gorgeous friend, Irene, got married to Jakob in Stockholm early this month Kari-Helene had the lovely task of looking after the bride’s hair and makeup as well as helping choosing the dress and accessories for the day. With a starting point so stunning – not a difficult task. The dress came from Jane Bourvis, who run a little shop in London full of weird and wonderful vintage pieces. Amongst all her dresses and corsets we found a stunning 1920’s lace slip and immediately knew it was the dress – goosebumps and all! The lovely blue shoes are from Jigsaw and complimented the dress beautifully! It was a really cold day and the Purl Alpaca Designs Duchess cardigan came in very handy. The cardigan is in the colour Mist which worked really well with the antique gold lace. Irene was a truly stunning bride and her and Jakob make a wonderful couple. Hope you enjoy these photos of the beautiful bride in her outfit. And by the way, she made her hairpiece herself! Talented and stunning – someone’s got it all!
