On Thursday Kari-Helene made the journey to Cambridge to hang out with some favourite friends, the alpacas! Oh, and Tracy, of course! Along came Ste, Kari-Helene’s boyfriend, to meet these wonderful business partners of hers, that is both Tracy and the alpacas!
It was a terribly cold and rainy day, the fields were muddy and we were badly prepared. Kari-Helene’s wellies (yes, the city girl does own wellies, but they are what you can call fashion-wellies) even had a big hole in them, so she ended up hopping across the muddy patches! Ste has an impressive natural skill with animals, be it alpacas or dogs, and Kari-Helene has finally gotten over her slight fear of feeding the alpacas. Her fear of muddy, eager dogs was however confirmed…
All together it was a great day that included a lovely lunch at the Plough and a very organised session of packing the orders from our latest appearance on the Ideal World shopping channel. Looks like we will be back on TV again in February. And this time we promise to take some photos and let you all know what goes on behind the cameras too!
Till then we hope you will enjoy these photos from the alpaca visit! If you would like to know more about the alpacas, take a look here!
Hello there, what is your name then? (you decide who says this)
A natural Beatuy! (that is her name, although you wouldn’t guess from this photo!)
Tracy knows the magic words, the alpacas come from far away when she calls! (magic words = apples)
