This is an iconic piece of hand knitting! This beautiful dress is an exquisite example of how cables and textured panels create truly stunning shape. Unique detailing (such as the hem) really gives Icon the edge. The neckline is very flattering and the way it nips in at the waist, gives a proper hourglass silhouette. Although the alpaca yarn is luxuriously soft, if you’re not feeling the “knitted dress on bare skin” thing, wear it layered with shirts or a fitted jumper and slip underneath.

Alpaca is one of the most luxurious natural fibres in the world, it has insulating qualities, is incredibly light and exceptionally comfortable to wear. Comparable in softness with top grade cashmere, our alpaca garments incorporate unique design with elegance and style. Thus a garment is created which will not only last for years, but be something you will want to continue wearing.
All the Purl Alpaca Products are made from the best quality, 100% pure British alpaca yarn (with some of the fleece sourced from our own herd and the majority from the farm where they are kept). It is spun in the UK before being knitted into garments by one of our team of professional knitters who are also all based in England.
As alpaca fibre has 23 registered colours (with all the shades in between) we guarantee that our yarn is completely natural and contains no artificial dyes. We develop our yarn colours at the mill by blending shades together, creating uniformity and colour consistency throughout each batch.
No alpaca is hurt in the process either, making our products ideal for the style conscious who enjoy life’s luxuries without costing the earth!
Please allow 21 working days for our knitters to produce your handmade knitwear, although for some smaller items it might be quicker.
